Sway
away
in this afternoon breeze,
be gentle,
be brave.
Let yourself be wild,
intense
in mad sun dances
and rain masquerades,
screaming and valiant
strip
away the fashion fads
rediscover the child,
be free.

That's some of the best advice I've ever heard. I noticed something a while back, kinda related to this. While on lare amount of hallucinogenic drugs (philosophers stone truffles) my friend Lloyd and I went to the beach in the middle of the night just to look at the sea and stuff. For some unknown reason, we started doing that thing you do when you're kids, where you hold hands and lean back away from each other and spin round really fast until you fall over. I realised that doing that is like the MOST fun thing ever. Spinning round and falling over is fucking great, and we do NOT do that enough as adults. People should spin more. Your poem made me think of that night.
The pic you've used is rather fabulous too

welcome to the dark side
kick-start your horror art here . . .
Yes, we get far too caught up in growing up and becoming something and the ever-constant struggle with money. And yes, these are important, but we can't lose the essence of what is 'us'. The wonderful weather here in Ontario right now has made me feel child-like again, as I do every spring when the weather turns warm and when the warm spring breeze hits your bare legs and arms and gives you a hint of summer. It makes me feel wonderfully young and wild.
Thanks so much.
Ali

There's a song that's inside of my soul
It's the one that i've tried to write
Over and over again
I'm awake in the infinite cold
But You sing to me over and over again
thanks for the fav!
